The 2010 SLA Illinois business meeting will feature Laura Barnes from the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, a joint effort of the Illinois Library Association (ILA) and the Illinois State Library.  Ms. Barnes is also a professor at the library school at University of Illinois. She will discuss the ongoing progress of "The Future of Illinois Library Cooperation", a joint effort of the ILA and the Illinois State Library, as well as identifying takeaways specific to special librarians.

During this business portion of the meeting, the officers for 2011 will be announced and the Membership committee will discuss the results of the member survey.
